We love photography, and sometimes (well, many times) we can't help but provide event coverage for free, we love photographing! But we will not do it for any event.

If you want your event covered for free, please read this article. We will explain our criteria to be eligible for a free event photoshoot.

Free Photoshoot Eligibility Criteria

  1. Your event must be free to attend. Visitors should pay no fee for being there. It is okay if you sell things there or bill vendors for being there.
  2. Your event must be public. Anyone (of any age, gender or background) should be able to attend without invitation.
  3. Your event must not require sign-up of any kind. You must accept walk-in visitors. It is okay to register vendors.
  4. Your event must be in a geographical area within a one-hour drive from Cornwall, ON.
  5. We must have at least one week of notice from the day of your event.
  6. We must be available on the day of your event.
  7. The weather allows it. We can't volunteer under extreme heat or cold.
  8. You agree to give us exposure for doing this. Read below what a valid exposure is for us.

Fill out the request form

If we close the deal, make sure we will be there.

If you fail to satisfy the requisites, it is not the end of the world;  we are very affordable. You may want to read our Social Event information page.

This does not include videography. It is only for photography.

What You Get

You will get all the photos from mid-resolution to high-resolution (depending on some factors, such as light). Because of the public nature of the event, all photos will be published on our portal for any guest to access them and see them.

We will also publish some photos (not everything) on our Facebook page (with a proper tag pointing to you) and in the following weeks, we will share in many community groups, including on your Facebook event page (if you have one).

Exposure & Networking

We are all about networking and win-win relationships. We will give you exposure once the work is done and we expect the same in return. Some valid exposure options are:

  • Sharing the original post we publish on Facebook (or any other social media platform).
  • If you are not sharing the original post from us, then make a tag of us when you publish a photo from us.
  • If you are not a fan of social media, then make a public mention on the day of the event.

If you decide to use a photo outside of social media. For example your webpage. We expect a link point to our page as well.
