A travel fee is an additional charge added to the standard rate, typically to cover the cost of travelling to a client's location or to a different location for a service.
The information in this article only applies when driving.
Because our service strives to offer the most affordable rates possible, our travel fee is low as well. Here it is.
Within the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties (SD&G)
If we stay within the SD&G area, there will be no travel fees. Please use the following map as a reference.
Outside the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties (SD&G)
We will charge $25 for each 100 km travelled, rounded to the nearest quarter. This includes the return as well. Please use Google Maps as a reference to get an idea (set the settings to no tolls and no ferries by car).
Here are some examples.
According to Google, it is 102 km. We will round this to 100 km, therefore, the travel fee would be $25 on top of our rate.
According to Google, it is 104 km. We will round this to 100 km, therefore, the travel fee would be $25 on top of our rate.
According to Google, it is 183 km. We will round this to 200 km; therefore, the travel fee would be $50 on top of our rate.
Exceptions
Sometimes we have to go to some places for personal reasons. If your event aligns with our travel dates and destination, we will waive the travel fee. Please ask us for time to see if this applies.
