We had the pleasure of meeting Akisi to do her maternity shoot. It was amusing!
Akisi came with her husband. She brought two outfits and a copy of her last ultrasound. With that and some props, we delivered 101 photos for $50.
Among the different photos, we did a photo composition where her husband observed her belly through a magnifying glass, then, we put the ultrasound there, pretending the glass had X-ray capabilities.
Nice, right?
The Venue: Andrew Haydon Park
This happened at the Andrew Haydon Park. Although the shooting date was late fall, the venue had a lot of elements to play with:
- a view of the river,
- a bridge,
- a long path,
- and different kinds of trees.
This park has more scenes to work with, but since this happened in late fall, not everything was as nice as it was in summer.
Challenges & Things to Observe
It was a windy and cloudy day. Yet the photos were sharp (no ghost effect) and with enough light.
