We understand that with this economy, every cent counts. Getting married is not cheap; sometimes it's ridiculously expensive. Within the spirit of helping with this economic burden to the soon-to-be-weds, we present our Wedding deal.

Here is our $499 deal below.

UPDATE: You asked and we listened. We have had several requests for small weddings (less than 4 hours) that do not qualify for the I will Always Love You deal. We have updated our pricing and options for this deal.

What does it include?

  • From one hour of photography (post-edition work included),
  • two photographers,
  • unlimited photos (as time allows it),
  • delivery of all images in mid-resolution, and
  • minimum video quality is HD.

Within the hired time, we can cover:

  • Couple preparation (optional),
  • the ceremony,
  • portrait session (optional), or
  • the party (optional, recommended).

Extras

Live Transmission

We will happily provide if you want us to transmit your ceremony live. We will strategically put a camera in place and broadcast the signal on YouTube or Facebook. Since mobile data is not cheap, add $50 per hour of live broadcasting (on top of the video rate) or $15 per hour if the venue has an Internet connection (on top of the video rate).

Travel Fee

Add $25 for each 100 km (rounded to the closest quarter) as a rule of thumb. If you want to learn more about how we calculate this (and know when there is an exception), please read this article: How does More Than Photos Calculate the Travel Fee?

Prints

You can pre-order and pre-pay for some photos. After we do the digital delivery, you just tell us which ones you want. We will provide free delivery if you are within the City of Cornwall limits or if you want to wait for our next scheduled trip close to you.

Currently, we can print in the following sizes: 6x4, 7x5, 17x11, and 19x13. We can frame them if you wish as well.  Once we know how many photos, what size and if you want one of them framed, we will give you a fixed price on this option.

Oversized Games

If you are having your event in an open space and you already know many of your guests do not know each other, you may need a strategy to break the ice. We currently offer a Jenga 2XL (very tall, it could be split in two for kids) and Jumbo 4-to-win games that could be the difference in your wedding.

The games will be available during the hired time of the photography/videography service. We ask for $25 per hour if you want only one game, or $40 per hour if you want two.

Please read below to know more about this.

  2. Where may I see your past work?
We view a wedding as a mix of portraits and events. With this in mind, these are our public portfolios:
    Weddings and Anniversary portfolio: https://photos.app.goo.gl/q6DAdnnafMKRZguaA,
    Portraits only portfolio: https://photos.app.goo.gl/RWaop5QeQ7FZpipj7, and
    Social Events (including parties): https://photos.app.goo.gl/yioarQBrJvPbz1wc8.

In this portfolio, you will find selected photos from the weddings and anniversaries we have covered.
    portraits collage
Here you will see some portraits from several photo sessions we have done. Some photos are taken in our studio, others outdoors. They all have in common that they are not candid shots.
    parties collage
Because a wedding is a social event, here are some social event shoots we have done. They are all candid shots taken under different circumstances: sunny day, cloudy day, night, fast-moving subjects, not looking at the camera, etc.
  3. What areas does this deal cover?
We cover all the SD&G areas.

If you happen to be outside of this area and you want to hire us, we may add (at our discretion) a one-time travel fee to cover extra expenses. Don't worry, it is not that much.

  4. How do I book my date?
Easy, use our booking link https://more-than-photos.appointlet.com/s/wedding.
After that, you have to confirm (secure the date).

  5. How do I secure my date?
Once you have booked the date,  we ask for a non-refundable $100 deposit. If you don't secure your date within the following seven days, we will release the date, and you will have to book it again. The rest of the amount should be covered on the day of the event.

  6. What happens if the event is longer?
If your event is 30 minutes longer, don't worry, that is on us. If your event is longer than that, we will let you know, and if you want us to stay.  We will send an invoice later for the extra work.

  7. Do you offer any kind of payment plans?
Yes, but because weddings are a one-time thing, we offer only pre-payment plans. We can divide the amount by the number of months, and we can charge your credit card for the quantity we agreed on the day we agreed.

  8. This is out of my budget. Do you have cheaper options?
We have a low-income option, our special Love is blind.

  9. Are the pictures edited? If so, to what level?
Yes, they are. We never deliver a photo right away from the camera. All the photos are processed to make sure they look their best. All the photos have a basic edition set; portraits have more details, as those are meant to be printed. Among the different things we could (when they apply):

    • Wrinkles softening,
    • Teeth whitening,
    • AI processing.

  10. What does mid-resolution mean?
Mid-resolution for us is any photo with 2048 pixels on its larger edge. Since social media platforms tend to downgrade the quality of any uploaded photo, 2048 pixels is perfect for this.

  11. How many photos should I expect?
It depends on what is happening and how many guests you have. You can expect between 20 and 50 photos per hour.

  12. Do you include video?
Yes, we do! Please read the first question for pricing. Our video offer includes recording the ceremony and key moments. We will discuss with you what we are going to deliver.

  13. What quality are the videos taken in?
If we agree to take a video, the quality depends on the lighting conditions. If there is enough light, we will deliver in 4K; if the light is low, we will do HD.

  14. What is the turnaround?
This depends on the number of photos we take. As a baseline, five days, and add two business days for every 250 photos we take. If we talk 600 photos (before culling), that may take us about eight business days to deliver. Add 2 working days if you hired a video.

  15. How do I download my photos?
When ready, we will send you a link (with a one-word password) where you can download all the photos. Feel free to share that link with all your family and friends. If there is any video, the portal will have a link to our YouTube channel where you can watch and download the videos.

  16. I want to order a print or download a high-resolution picture. How do I do that?
You can order any print or high-resolution file in the same portal where you access the photos. Optionally, if those prices are not affordable for you, we can do local prints in some selected sizes.

  17. Why don't you offer video-only service?
We used to do that, but we had some issues. Usually, when you ask for a video-only service, you have already chosen the photographer. Editing a video is harder than editing in photography; you can't strip a person out (maybe you can, but we can't) or retake something if someone crosses in front of the camera.
Consequently, we have discontinued our video-only service offerings due to challenges with certain photographers who prioritize self-promotion over collaborative efforts, hindering our ability to consistently deliver high-quality work.

  18. Do I need to give a deposit for the oversized games?
Yes. When we install the games, we will do an inventory of what we are giving to you and in what state. Besides the normal wearing of things, any unacceptable damage will be considered as an instant purchase of the affected item.

  19. What is the unacceptable damage of the oversized games?
Unacceptable damage could be any of the following: missing pieces, broken pieces, physical damage (soaking, food mixing, unerasable marks, teeth/knife marks).

  20. What happens if the weather is not good?
For the photography and videography service, nothing will happen. We will be there ready to deliver. As for the oversized games, depending on the weather conditions, we may need to keep them. If this happens, we will refund the unused time and your deposit if the items are in acceptable condition.

  21. If I only hire the photo/video service for a short period, can you leave the oversized games?
Sadly no. We will take them with us when we are finished covering your event.

  22. Do you rent the oversized games only? (No photo/video service)
No, sorry. For now, this is an add-on to our service only.
